I’m not really a fan of this chapter. They come off as kind of off-putting overall. Chum, for one, and on top of that, they act really strange whenever they’re around girls. It’s like they don’t really know how to interact in a respectful or comfortable way, which just gives off an awkward vibe. It makes people feel uneasy, and it’s definitely something that stands out in a negative way. There’s nothing majorly offensive, but the overall behavior feels off, and that alone makes it hard to feel good about this chapter or recommend it to others.

great group of guys mostly from Richmond but also a good amount from VB and jersey. They have the best day drink spots at JMU.

This chapter, I have to admit, left me feeling more unsettled than intrigued. The characters—Chum in particular—come across as jarringly off-putting; their presence feels like an unwelcome interruption rather than an organic part of the story. What truly compounds the discomfort is how they navigate (or, rather, fail to navigate) social interactions with female characters. Every exchange is peppered with awkward pauses, stilted dialogue, and a palpable lack of empathy or respect, as though they’ve stepped onto the page without any understanding of nuance or basic courtesy
