Do Ranks Actually Matter?

I decided to COB a sorority this spring and had no idea that there were ranks at all. After seeing posts on here, I realized people were placing it on the lower end. Do these ranks actually matter in real life? Will people judge you for your rank or think of you negatively because you are not in a top sorority? Just wondering because this has made the whole process a little more stressful.

Ranks mean nothing in real life. If you enjoy the people/conversations that's all that should matter!
