rushing as a sophomore?

How hard is it to get a bid from a sorority that you actually like as a sophomore? Do you really need to know/have friends in the house beforehand? ///do any ucsb sororities actually have quotas for sophomores

you certainly don't have to have friends in the house! there is a quota for sophomores and juniors combined. so, if it was 10, a house may take anywhere from 10 juniors and 0 sophomores or 10 sophomores and 0 juniors, it's really up to them. sophomores are generally more preferred than juniors.
