Just saying, COB doesn't really affect sisterhood because everyone still goes to the events and all the sisters have to be at COB. The only thing people doing COB are not doing is the rush week where they have to talk to every sorority

Honestly, many sororities experience this, but some of the most dedicated girls in the sorority went through COB. Some of them do it because they only want Theta. Many of the girls who join through COB never went through formal recruitment. Some are transfer students, others didn't want to join a sorority until they were older and didn't want to go through formal. COB is just a lower stress way to join a sorority, and you actually get to know people better because conversations aren't timed.
