If you want to win competitions, be competitive in Homecoming/ Greek Week, have successful philanthropy involvement, or be respected, DO NOT join this sorority. I say this as an alum! SK is not well liked by panhellenic or fraternities. they have way less formals/ social events compared to other chapters. If you want to join a group that actually does stuff, don’t join this chapter. There is generally less Fun and more Work on how we can become a “top tier”. i know ppl say it’s about the sisterhood, but you’re also paying for involvement and activities. if you can find sisterhood elsewhere, i strongly urge you to join that chapter instead

Sigma Kappa - ΣΚ Sorority at Western Kentucky University - WKU 1.4 LADIES, with recruitment approaching do NOT let this joke of a chapter fool you into thinking it’s actually a good fit. Go with your other option and if there are no other options drop recruitment and try again next year. They don’t treat their sisters kind if they don’t deem them worthy or think they’re odd or don’t fit in. Just don’t run home to them! I accepted a bid from them and dropped them joined a different sorority on campus! So happy where I ended up! Trust me girlies!

Sigma Kappa - ΣΚ Sorority at Western Kentucky University - WKU 2.4 I think they are on the rise. I know a few Sigma Kappas and they are nice. They are newer and people dont give them the credit they deserve.

NEW ON GREEKRANK

Sigma Kappa - ΣΚ Sorority at Western Kentucky University - WKU 1.5 My sister was in this sorority and was excluded from many things and when she said she felt like she didn’t belong she was told she was being negative and needed to get over the mental health issues she was struggling with. 0/10 made her mental health take a turn for the worse and they discriminated against her for having a mental illness. This sorority gives all sororities a bad name. To make matters worse they all dropped my sister after she ultimately decided that she could no longer bear paying so much money to be left out and talked down to. I’m so glad she got out of it.

Sigma Kappa - ΣΚ Sorority at Western Kentucky University - WKU 1.5 I was in this sorority back in 2017 and I dropped after 1 semester. Too many girls who talk bad about each other. As soon as I dropped everyone unfollowed me on Instagram except a few. I wish I would have rushed my other choice instead…. So many regrets lol
