opinions on new pledge classes

Chi O had the best PC out of all the sororities. They got the smartest and many of the best quality girls available. Phi Mu did well too and got the hottest girls (as usual). AGD also recruited well and got some really stellar girls academically and looks wise. KD did okay (as usual) but AOii dropped the ball. AOii's recruiting strategy has usually just been to give the cheer leaders bids then hope all their friends join them and word of mouth carries over to the quality and quantity they need. This year though, it didn't pan out since Pan-Hellenic recruiting numbers were much lower compared to last year and a lot of girls they would've gotten in the past saw other options and went to sororities like AGD. AOii has gotta figure out how to recruit and rebrand themselves better because now, there's no major difference between them and sororities like KD and AGD like there was in the past. I know this is probably a one time thing for them, but AOii is in big trouble if they don't get a good PC next fall or get some good girls with COB in the Spring.

Fratwise, Sigma Chi (as usual) had the best PC. However, they are slipping since a lot of guys they'd normally get without question in the past are now realizing there's other options and are going to other frats. Still, they're the richest frat on campus and still dominate intramurals and academics. Pi Kapp is on social probation and while they blanket bidded and got quantity over quality, they're still a top house considering the fact they've still got the numbers, alumni support, and a house to keep them going. However, their brotherhood's being sacrificed in the process and it'll only get worse when they keep bringing in guys just to match numbers with Sigma Chi instead of bringing in quality guys at the expense of giving any guy who visits their house during rush week a bid. KA and PIKE both did good and got a few good guys, but they're going to have focus more to overtake Sigma Chi as the top house. KA has a horrible retention rate and PIKE always has good ideas, but they just never really pan out when they execute them. Phi Kapp and Kappa Sigma had the same as usual PC and don't really stand out from each other. They are some good guys in those frats, but most aren't the type of guys you see being IFC president one day. ATO had a small PC but they definitely are coming up and have the potential to stop being a background frat sooner than later. However, the guy that's taking over as their next president is probably going to ruin that for them so they'll probably go back irrelevancy by next year. SAE and TKE both had small PC. SAE is new on campus so it's understandable why they didn't get many guys but TKE has no excuse. All they got was 3 guys after basically giving everyone in IFC rush a bid. If it wasn't for their alumni more or less running their fraternity for them, they'd probably have lost their chapter a while ago.

2)KD (did surprisingly well this year, really shocked at some of the girls they managed to recruit)

4)AGD (got some girls that they wanted, but have had a super low retention rate this year)
5)Phi mu (not really sure what went wrong, but all of the girls they wanted preffed other sororities)
