This chapter is so sweet! I don’t know why aoii gets such a bad rep, they seem really genuine! I wish they would be a little more involved with campus but other than that they seem really nice!

I do not recommend if you want to join a sorority to be involved. They’re barely involved on campus and anywhere and don’t seem super into their sisterhood. Really sweet girls tho!

This sorority has been one of the best in past years. They did have one bad pc that was incoming class of 2025. Understand that a sorority holds u to standards. If u don’t want to participate in the work, chapters, fundraisers but want a place to party or notoriety for what aopi was in the past then u should look elsewhere. There are rules with all sororities and it is to be taken seriously. If u are looking for popularity outside of it and then don't want to bring anything to the table then I don't recommend this sorority. Every single sorority on this campus has had its problems and cycles. If you are looking for straight up attention seeking behavior and partying then this isn’t going to fulfill you. This sorority wants involvement and yeah they do have an image that can’t be torn to shreds by girls that don’t give a crap. Some of the kindest and brightest have gone Aopi. I can’t name a sorority on this campus that hasn’t passed judgement in some form. If u put forth respect you will get it in return.

Beware! AOII had a huge wave of girls drop this year because their standards have fallen so far. These girls used to be some of the most popular and impressive on the row but they have taken a fast fall straight to the bottom. This sisterhood is made up of the meanest, fakest girls you'll ever meet and the only fun they have is faked for the camera and social media. The boys in the best frats do not like going to their events because they are absolutely no fun. Anyone in AOII who liked to have a good time has dropped already because they were sick of the glares and whispers of their less popular, jealous AOII sisters. And more drops are coming. You are better off with KD, Phi Mu, or Chi O. AOII's sisterhood is nothing but embarrassing.

Aopi has some of the most genuine people I’ve ever met. There is such a diverse group of sisters with so many different strengths that there is a friend for everyone. They are non judgmental and welcoming of all!

Used to be the very best but this latest pc ruined everything. They sit up in the house picking on girls who act like normal college girls. They are uptight and judgmental and changing the way this sorority’s sisterhood. If you like being bossed around and shamed this is the place for you.

It's true as another comment says that one bad PC came through and ruined the whole thing. Half of that PC ('22) was great (smart, athletic, gorgeous, involved, hardworking, president's list) and the other half was awful (judgmental, hypocritical, unkind, uncool, mediocre grades). the problem is that the wrong half of that PC stayed, and the rest got tired of the way they were treated and they dropped or went inactive, with a few exceptions. And from there on out, the "dark side" won out in Aopi. This sorority then had to recruit heavy mid term to fill the massive hole in numbers and they had to drop their standard way below to do so. Aopi used to be filled with the smartest, the brightest, and the best in all areas. The girls were well rounded and fun and the sisterhood was great. You'll see just by looking back at old social media posts how far things have fallen. You cannot trust these girls. They will comment on sisters' post that they are best friends and then vote against that same girl in closed voting and tear the girl to shreds. Everyone is out for themselves. It's not a good look. No one wants to participate in anything because it feels like walking into a lion's den, and the lions are neither cool nor worthy to judge anyone. These are not the girls you aspire to be. Run for your life.
