'going with the system' is not realistic lol it's 100% based off of who you know.

It's really important to get to know girls before rush, but also matters how you act during rounds. Just be yourself and you will end up in the right place (I know this is cliche but it is so true!)

going to philanthropy events helps, meet girls in classes/going out, focus on making genuine connections but still show interest in Greek life. a lot of it is actually about how you act during rounds but it doesn't hurt to have made a good impression already.

My only suggestion is to keep it real. Phony behavior can be detected a mile away and won't serve you well AT ALL. The thing is that you might think you are fooling people but for the most part the house will know about you and realize whether they want you BEFORE ROUND 1. So, if you haven't laid down a solid foundation for your friendships in advance of rush then YOU WILL HAVE ISSUES. AND THEY WILL BE BIG ISSUES. Most houses have lists done before round 1 including rankings etc. If you think you can game the system just know that YOU CANNOT.
