In terms of "popularity," they are the bottom house at vandy. they don't cut during rush so they have a weird mix of girls.. it's a shame though cause some of the girls in it seem very nice

If their true purpose of existence matches yours and they bid you by all means join them in their endeavors. No Vanderbilt sorority lacks women of good manner and taste. BTW every sorority makes cuts during recruitment because each home knows best which pnm women align with their character and policies.

This isn't true at all- AOII cuts girls after every round, like every other sorority. The difference is which girls they choose to cut (there are many girls in top tier sororities that have no idea that one of the bottom tier sororities cut them).

Actually the original poster is not too far off from the truth. AOII does not cut any girls who visit on sisterhood and pref.

Some of the most involved, hardworking, friendly girls on campus! I've only had great experiences with them in class and orgs, and their sisterhood is known as being one of the strongest.

AOII has great visibility and involvement on campus and probably the best sisterhood. There is definitely not a certain look or stereotype that describes AOII, which is why its members love it. However, it struggles with finding a sense of identity and unifying under a cohesive atheistic. From what I have heard from friends in the chapter, some girls refused to wear for recruitment. And they have girls on the other side of the spectrum that just have no self respect.
