Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority at Vanderbilt University - VU 4.5 Aoii is honestly the best sisterhood on campus. While all the other sororitys have drama and kind of hate each other, aoii girls all seem to hang out and love each other. Honestly kind of refreshing in the Greek community right now. Also - whoever said they are anti social and no fun has obviously never met an aoii girl.

Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority at Vanderbilt University - VU 4.4 okay so I went through recruitment and I had aopi and another chapter for pref night. I chose the other chapter, but these girls are so genuine. I wished I went the other way and joined aopi now. While they may not shine in formal recruitment, everyone seems so happy, and their sisterhood seems to be the only close and authentic one. I wish I didn’t let stereotypes affect my decision.

Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority at Vanderbilt University - VU 4.5 I'm in a different chapter, but a lot of my friends are in this chapter and have loved it. they're all genuine women who really love each other, even if formal recruitment isn't their strongest, the girls who join love it.

Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority at Vanderbilt University - VU 3.7 It’s the smallest house on campus and definitely bottom tier, but it could appeal to someone more lowkey or someone who doesn’t fit the stereotypical sorority girl image. Since they know their ranking isn’t changing anytime soon, they’re definitely the least tryhard of the houses and they seem to spent a lot more time doing sisterhood stuff rather than working on recruitment. If you’re rushing as an upperclassman or are just looking for something more chill, check them out for sure.

It’s the smallest house on campus and definitely bottom tier, but it could appeal to someone more lowkey or someone who doesn’t fit the stereotypical sorority girl image. Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority at Vanderbilt University - VU 4.5 I think people (myself included) tend to count aoii out way too early because the girls don't put on as big of a spectacle as some of the other houses during the first few rounds of rush, but I've heard that the chapter really shines during the last two rounds, when most people don't really consider it an option anymore. The pledge classes have been small recently, but all of the girls seem to genuinely like each other and I've overheard friends from other houses talking about how they wish they could have a sisterhood so strong as the one in aoii and how the house girls are so much more welcoming and willing to share their space. I also see these girls all the time at the frats and out downtown, and they show up in big groups and have a great time with each other and with girls from other chapters; they definitely know how to have fun despite their reputation saying otherwise. They also have great representation across campus and are friends with plenty of people inside and outside of Greek life. PNMS: When you rush, give these girls a chance. I am happy with the chapter I ended up with, but the aoii sisters are genuine and fun and will welcome home anyone who is truly looking for sisterhood.
