Is it important to have recommendation letters when rushing sororities?

I would say they are the least important thing, your conversations and how you look/fit in to whatever sorority you want to be in are definitely more important factors. Most people I know didn’t get rec letters but maybe if you have a close family member or know an alum from rhodes you could include that.
