The new semester is underway and every college student goes through a cycle that starts at the beginning of the semester. You finally come back from a nice long and relaxing break where you feel completely refreshed and ready to start your classes. Everyone understands that moment where you give yourself a pep talk that you are going to try really hard in school and stay focused. Unfortunately most college students have realized that parties, booze, sleeping, and friends slowly become the priority before school. These are the stages that every student goes through when starting off the semester.
It’s syllabus week and no rules apply
Okay, the first week of real class and you decide that you are going to read every chapter and focus in every single class
Thinking you will get all A’s this semester
When you get the mindset homework < going out
I can fail a few quizzes
Blaming your teachers for your failing grades
Calculating the worst grade you can get on the final to maintain a certain grade in the class
When you give up on finals and just make a promise to yourself that you’ll try next semester
Post final
