Often you hear people say that your college years are going to be the best of your life. Some of the best memories a girl can have in college are the ones they have with their fellow sorority sisters, especially those moments living under the same roof. You may not get along all the time, but everything else makes up for it.
The house is a comfort zone.
There is always food There’s either someone making dinner or ordering out for food. The refrigerator is always stocked and typically there’s always pizza around.
You have a house full of clothes. There’s never a reason to say you have nothing to wear. Just head across the hall and you’re bound to find something. Your options are endless.
You always have someone to talk to. Whether it is good or bad news, you know you have a listening ear that is willing to hear what you have to say. There is always someone’s shoulder to cry on after you get dumped and there’s always someone to share your excitement with like when you ace that test you studied all night for. Even if you just get lonely, there is someone down the hall that is willing to chat.
Your sorority sisters become your family. From those little things like making sure you don’t miss your 8 am class to those late night conversations when you pass out on her bed and she covers you with a blanket, your sorority sisters truly become your second family. You know they’ll always support you and give you advice when you need it. They help you learn more about yourself and help you to grow as a person.
