MSU Greek women in the Miss Mississippi Pageant:
KD - Miss Tombigbee
DG - Miss Clinton
Miss Historic New South
Miss Delta Blues
Chi O - Miss Riverland
ZTA - Miss Pontotoc
Phi Mu - Miss Red Carpet City
Miss Mississippi State University (was she an active Phi Mu this
year or did she drop? Phi Mu has an Instagram wishing Miss RCC
good luck but she is the only one)
Two of the favorites to win are Miss Riverland (1st Alternate last year) and Miss Mississippi State University (2nd Alternate last year).

Not trying to argue but You can't take a "leave of absence" from a sorority (all of them that I know about) so she evidentially dropped Phi Mu at some point this year. Otherwise whoever runs the chapter Instagram account would have posted a good luck insta for her too. If you drop while enrolled as a full time student it's basically as though you were never a member at all.

So because she is stating a fact, you're jumping on her case. But you never said it wasn't true, so therefore she dropped. Which isn't a big deal at all! It happens to every single sorority. So instead of getting all feisty, just don't comment. Simple.

No MSU ladies won a Friday preliminary.

It may not be to you, but lots of girls care about the Miss Mississippi pageant and it's a big deal to a lot of people. This person was just saying which sororities on our campus were being represented in the pageant. I think it was very interesting to know and I'm glad she posted it. You don't have to care, just ignore the post and move on with your day. There are lots of un-important posts on this website all the time, why are you focusing on this one?

This post is only relevant to Mississippi State in 1 way. A ChI O placed 2nd. And she has already graduated.
No one else from STATE placed. I kind of agree, what does this have to do with STATE? The others in top 5 are from Southern and Ole Miss. A KD from SOUTHERN was crowned, that's all people will remember!

OP posted this before the pageant started, so it was relevant because at that point no one knew who was going to be in the top 10, 5, or who would win. It could have easily been someone from MSU. And also, Our girls won some preliminary awards, and I think that's worth mentioning.

2 MSU ladies were in the Top 5. An MSU DG was 4th alternate with the Chi O being 2nd Alternate. The DG is a rising senior and the Chi O graduated in May.
It is relevant to MSU because the OP was about ALL of the MSU representatives in the Miss Mississippi Pageant not just the ones who placed!

Miss Leaf River Valley was a Talent Prelim winner and placed Top 10 and she is an initiated DG from MSU who transferred to Southern last year for their musical theater program. Any other chapters have transfer members represented? I LOVE to see all of the MSU sorority ties represented!

Miss Southern Heartland was initiated as an ADPi then transferred to Ole Miss after her freshman year.

DG - they have 3 members in the pageant.
Sorry it does look confusing. This site centers every line making it difficult to read. Frustrating!
