cut

Sorry, I don't really understand this about rush? How do you know if you have been cut or invited back?

I rather sound stupid here than during rush week

There are 4 rounds of recruitment: Go Greek, Philanthropy, Theme, and Preference.
For the first 2 days (Go Greek), you will visit all 8 houses. After visiting all 8, you will go through the selection process (your recruitment counselor, or gamma chi (ΓΧ) will thoroughly explain this process to you).
On the 3rd day (Philanthropy), you will receive a schedule from your ΓΧ telling you which houses have invited you back (the maximum # of houses you can go to on this day is 6, average is 3-4). At the end of the day, you will repeat the selection process.
4th day is Theme. Same thing, different day- get your schedule from your ΓΧ, max # of houses is 4, average is 2, selection process.
Last day is Pref- same thing. Schedule from ΓΧ, max # is 2, average of 1, selection process.

Hope this helped!

Basically, every day when you meet with your gamma chi group you will find out which groups you are going to that day and who has cut you.

So once you get your new schedules for the day, do you just go to the houses by yourself? Or will panhel make new groups each day?

Yes, you will go to the parties by yourself. Water Party days are the only days you will stay with your ΓΧ group the entire time.

came out confusing, ExGX. No, PNM, you don't go by yourself. You don't go with your Gamma Chi Group anymore, but you go to every house at the scheduled time and there will be Gamma Chi's there that line you and all the other girls going to that party up in alphabetical order. Then y'all all walk in together and leave together. So you are NEVER alone, but you aren't with your group past Water Party days either.

Sorry about the confusion. I just meant that it is the PNM's own responsibility to go to the parties at the time on their schedule :)
