Was this year's quota? Like total and under/upperclassmen?

was 74 I believe. Not sure how many was upperclassmen though. How many girls did each house get?

there was A LOT of dirty rushing going or something in the system messed up...It's rude to make a girl think that she will be back at a house the next day (asking her if she sees herself in this house,exec members talking to her, telling her that they can't wait to see her tomorrow/heard awesome things about her, etc.), and then to cut her. I've heard of three different groups doing this!

A sorority members job during rush is to make each PNM feel #1 at home,#2 comfortable and welcomed #3 liked. Honestly!! Top chapters are full of members who have great personalities and are easily able to do these three things. A member really has no clue as to whether or not a girl will be invited back while she is talking to her! I am fairly sure that chapter execs meet and speak with EVERY girl going through recruitment. And what do you expect them to say ... "We've heard you are wild and have a bad personality."? Chapter members do not begin recruitment with the intention of hurting PNMs!

All of these things happened Skit Night or Pref Night...parties where you're getting down to which houses are really considering you. I would definitely consider this dirty rushing. Although I am happy with my decision, it was very disappointing to open my schedule and see that this group that truly made it seem like they wanted me to be a sister had cut, ahem, "prioritized" me.

happens to LOTS of girls. doesn't make it right...but, don't feel like it's just you. some groups do it every year. chi o is infamous for it.

is the numbers are so tight for the top 3 that they have to see if the girls want to be there so they know who to cut that night. The truth is that when talking to girls you have no idea who will be on the chopping block that night, and many times members are upset because girls they truly like end up being cut, not because they don't want the girl but because the numbers require girls to be cut. It IS dirty rushing to promise a bid, but asking if the girls are comfortable and having members of exec talking to them IS NOT!

I'm fairly certain the ridiculous posts being made about DG and Chi O (dirty rushing and quota issues) are from the same person trying to make the best 2 houses look bad. These sororities are top notch and pledge the best girls, any member of one will tell you the other is right up there with them. Girls, do not fuel the fire. This girl(s) is trying to stir up trouble and bring down 2 amazing chapters.
