I’m in another sorority, and I really love Phi Mu! They are one of the chapters who will give people a fair shot in recruitment by getting to know them instead of automatically giving a legacy a bid regardless! In other words, they don’t seem to have a “bid list” picked out kind of like the other sororities in their tier… The conversations had there each day will actually matter rather than 100% connections going into it. The girls are like 50% party girls & crazy (in the best way) & the other 50% are really cute angel super Christian girls. The common denominator that they all fall in is just girls wanting to have fun! Really love Phi Mu! They mind their business & have fun! It’s where I would go if I wasn’t in my current chapter!

Phi mu is made up of 75% of hometown friends. Tons from the coast and neighboring Alabama near coast girls. They (you) have 30-40 girls stay with actives over the spring.
Phi mu USE TO BE the looks house but that changed 3 yrs ago when they started focusing on hometown girls. Now they have a 50/50 split of very non-looks girls with normal ones. I don't fault them for pulling in their hs besties but PLEASE don't pretend that 70% of your bid list hasn't already been made.

PNMs, if you don't have 20+ Phi mus following your IG then you likely won't make it to round 3 with them. And that's fine, State has a ton of great houses!
