Wrong, it actually gets much better sophomore year. Most freshmen find that going through their first recruitment on the other side, as an active instead of a pnm, is the ultimate bonding experience. They get to know many other sisters on a close personal level, finding other sisters they adore and forming close friendships with, and also discovering the ones they want to just avoid. Recruitment is a game changer for finally feeling solid about belonging and finding your niche within the larger group.
