house preference

by:

Are there certain houses that will drop me because I am from far out of state? I am really excited to meet girls at every single house but am trying to prepare myself for deep cuts since I am not from the south.
I am super easy going, have a high GPA, leadership, clubs, volunteering, yada yada with everything that you would expect, but does that even matter to some of the houses?
Thank you for your honest feedback. I truly am excited to go to Ms State, I have been looking forward to it since I was in middle school and attended my first game with my family back in middle school.

in my opinion, no! most houses have a great mix of in and out of state girls. I wouldn’t worry about that or let it discourage you at all :)

No! I am an out of state member and only got cut by 2! I would recommend reaching out to people to get to know them before rush so they have an idea of who you are.

Are you out of state or far out of state/out of region? Because most out of region girls (99%) that I know are not in XO, KD, DG

You are correct! There are usually only 1-2 far out of state girls who get bids in those 3 houses each fall. Even PM is taking less and less of those great pnms in the past 2-3 years.

There are certain houses that are known for being more accepting to far out of state girls. I know lots of Ohio girls in Pi Phi and Illinois girls in ZTA. But, there are a few far OOS girls in every house
