Just how I see it after recruitment

If you are from MS, all you have typically heard is Chi O, KD, and DG. Phi Mu, DDD, Pi Phi , ADPi and ZTA all are good national sororities and have great girls, too. If you took the letters off of the houses, you couldn't tell one from the other. If you continue to talk about the top 4 and girls only wanting the top 4, it makes you sound uneducated . Many girls come to Starkville with strong family ties to what you consider to be the bottom 4 and want to be associated with that sorority - They didn't choose to pledge one of the top 4. Also, some girls choose DDD, ZTA, Phi Pi and ADPi because they liked the girls in the chapter. They didn't make shallow decisions based on "others thoughts and perceptions".

Sorry but you should've said if you're rushing at MSU you typically hear chi o kd phi mu dg. You clearly haven't been to ole miss or usm to make a statement like your first one. Top sororities at our 3 universities are NOT the same! Chi o at southern and ole miss are def NOT #1.3rd at ole miss and upper middle at southern! DDD at both of our other schools are top tier. Kd and phi mu are both upper middle at the other 2 universities.

I feel certain that "this is right" does go here - and I'd bet money that they're a PiPhi (or perhaps a PiPhi parent or alum). The one constant on this site is that when a group does particularly well, they are attacked by other sororities. Of course ZTA isn't last, they've had a great year and their last two pledge classes have been excellent. They still have work to do (consistency, GPA, etc.) to be considered top tier, but they've done well enough to attract the haters. And DG has had its problems within the Greek community, but they have the continued involvement and GPA to be top tier. They still had a very successful recruitment.
Some people would switch one group or another in a spot or two, but I think most would say:
ChiO/KD/DG
PhiMu/ZTA/DDD
PIPhi/ADPi

Thanks for the laugh PiPhi! Switch PiPhi and ZTA and probably DG and PhiMu. I personally prefer KD over ChiO, but they're both Top Tier.

I disagree. ZTA is doing better than Pi Phi lately. Majority of newer Zetas are really involved and I just don't see as many Pi Phi's outside of greek row.
