new maroon & recruitment
by: NMCI am looking at signing up for NMC this summer but an also going through recruitment. For those who did this last year, was it too much doing both? I really want to do both but worry I will be so exhausted at the end of each day that my rush will suffer. Any insight from someone who did both is appreciated!

I did both and it was amazing! it really prepares you for how busy you will be in classes and everything during college so i recommend it!! but i also have some friends that did both and said that they didn’t enjoy it because it was tiring but honestly it’s a great opportunity and NMC is such a fun experience. i came here not knowing a single person and i met some of my best friends during recruitment and nmc.

I did both, and I don’t regret it, but I didn’t have much time to really experience New Maroon Camp! Whenever I did go I felt kind of out of place because everyone else seemed to know each other better. Honestly, it’s a lot but if you feel like you’re gonna miss out, then go ahead and sign up for it. You can pick and chose which activities you go to.
