resume building
by: advice neededI'm really interested in re-rushing in the spring in hopes of getting a house. I'm trying to build my resume up, and I'm wondering if its worth joining and paying the dues for sigma phi lambda. Do the Panhellenic sororities look down on you for being apart of this? I do genuinely want to join, but not if it's going to hurt my chances.

Honestly, if you are interested in joining a Christian sorority and/or an NPC sorority for resume building, you should not join either. If you want to belong to an organization for fun and sisterhood and social life, then rush. If you want to join a Christian sisterhood because you are feeling called by the Lord, then do it. But joining for resume stuff is a terrible idea and you wouldn't make a good member. For your resume, get involved in campus leadership, a professional organization for students in your major, volunteer year-round for something you are passionate about, or get internships.
