by: ...I am from the midwest and I know a lot of sororities in southern schools tend to "discriminate" against girls who are not from the south. Which sororities here do that if any? Which sororities would most likely give me bids?

won't find that same discrimination here. I know girls in every sorority from all over that didn't know a single girl on campus when they rushed, from top tier to bottom tier. If you have great grades and involvement and a good rec, every sorority will look at you. If you really hit it off with a girl or two in a certain house, they will pull for you. If it's so so and the girls aren't sure if you like their sorority the best and its between you and a hometown girl, they'll probably pick hometown. So my advice is make sure you let the houses you really like know you really them.
