rush requirements
by: curious!OK so I read somewhere that in addition to getting an alumni of the sorority to send in a recommendation letter, it's also a good idea to send in a copy of your resume and a picture of yourself into each sorority. Is this true?

Most alums will request your r?sum? with a photo to include with their recommendation. Many sororities now use online recommendations so you might be asked to simply email them to the alum doing your recommendation. As a PNM, you send NOTHING directly to the sorority. Everything goes to Panhellenic or the alums writing recs.

It's good to have a couple recs for each group, especially ones you really are interested in. It is not mandatory, but the more people (ESPECIALLY if they went to MSU) who have known you personally that can vouch for you the better. If you know anyone at all in a sorority at MSU feel free to ask them questions too, it never hurts to start making connections with people that can fight for you come rush week.
