new sororities
by: The additionof ADPi and Kappa Kappa Gamma will shake things up in the Greek community at MSU.

They won't be shaking things up for years. It takes years for new sororities to establish themselves on a Southern college campus. If the entire Greek system was fairly new then it might be easier but sororities have been around for 75 years (2 groups) and the other large ones have been around for 40 or so years. Most will still want to pledge the established groups.

why they will come in strong. The Kappa chapter at Ole Miss is good/average and made up of mostly out-if-state girls. I know there is an ADII chapter at Southern but have never heard a single thing about them. Neither group has a strong presence in Mississippi. They might draw some out-of-state girls because of their strong National organizations but only a small percentage of MSU Greeks are out-of-state (I am not counting Memphis girls).
