just got my first snap call.

Was told they had 80 bids to give and I was their "first choice". I cut them Monday night. I politely declined. She got super pushy and told me how she was afraid I would regret this decision. I politely declined again and hung up. 80 bids...yeah..."trust the process"...

Just gonna let you know that sororities talk.. you may have just shot yourself in the foot. Instead of being mean about it, you should have mentioned potentially going through COB and just seeing what your options are until then.

Did you get mad at the sorority or Panhellenic? Because it's not the houses fault. Be angry, mad, hurt but direct it at the appropriate place.

If you cut the group that offered you a snap bid after having been to only 1 of their parties, you don't know if you might have grown to love that house as the week went on. A house truly can't be judged by a single party.

Why in the world would a chapter offer a snap bid to someone who cut them after round 1 when there are so many others that the chapter cut during the week who never cut the chapter and likely would have been thrilled to get that call? This seems crazy.
