by: pnmI know this is pretty random, but I was wondering exactly how girls get on the homecoming court? There are thousands of girls and only two spots per grade I think, and I was just really curious how they get picked out? Do they run for it? Are they selected?

In the past sororities or organizations would run members for spots on the court and Queen. This year the entire process changed. Thankfully!! In the new process for HOCO maids students went through an interview process with faculty judges. The faculty committee then selected the class maids based on interviews. Any group can nominate someone for Queen which is then elected by the student body. Miss MSU candidates are nominated by their group, then interviewed. A few 2 or 3 are picked by the interview committe to run for Miss MSU which is then voted on by the student body.
