pnms-please read this about pref!!

Lovely PNMs,
I hope all of you are thrilled with your invites today! However, I know that some of you may not be, and I would just like to give you some advice:
1) Go to ALL of the pref parties you are invited to. Keep an open heart and mind. Pref is often a game changer and can help you see the chapter in a totally different and positive light. Look around at the other PNMs attending your parties with you...these could be your future pledge sisters! These are the girls you will be spending the next 4 years with, so keep that in mind.
2) Rank every group you attended Pref with on your card. Even if you "didn't click with any of the girls" (or think you're too good for the chapter-not trying to be mean but this happens and you can be the change you want to see in the group!) Why? Because this might be your ONLY chance to be Greek at UA. COB is not a guarantee, and those COBing will probably be chapters you don't want to rank now anyway. Sophomores do get bids, but have a much harder time with harsher cuts. So unless you'd rather not be Greek at all, list all groups!
3) These groups wouldn't have invited you to pref if they weren't seriously considering you for membership. They WANT you to be their sister! It is such an honor to be invited to Pref at any group, so be gracious and polite.
4) Make sure to let chapters know that you love them and would love to be in their group if you feel comfortable doing so.
5) Follow your heart and go find your future sisters! Good luck!!
