how do you know if you're actually wanted?
by: PNNI have a full party schedule with 3 Old Row (AXO, KKG, DDD) and I really like them, but the thing is I know only one person from AXO and none from the other two, and I'm OOS. I feel really lucky to have these houses, but I'm wondering if I actually have a chance to receive a bid at these places when I have so few connections or if I just "slipped through the cracks" and ended up on their party list. I like the other sororities on my party list too and I'm keeping an open mind, but if I have no chance at these 3, I'd prefer to "cut" them tonight and have pref houses that actually like me. Even if I've come this far with no connections, is it still probable that I might still come away with a bid?

None of us can tell you exactly what chance you have, because we don't know you and we don't know what the sorority thinks of you. However, if you're still getting invited back, it's a good thing. Keep being yourself, because obviously it's working. Good luck in recruitment and know that wherever you end up you will enjoy yourself!

AXO, DDD, and KKG are all wonderful houses, as are all of the others on campus. EVERY group takes girls from OOS. Every single one. Connections in the houses definitely help, but if you've made it this far without them, they likely see something special in you. Of course, you could be cut from none or all 3 of those houses tonight (as well as the other houses you have left)...no one knows. But follow your heart and choose your top 3 based on where you feel the most at home and welcome, how well you fit with the girls, and where you think you would be the happiest (Old Row or not!) Give all of the houses you have left a good look and go with your gut :)

Me too (almost). Just follow your heart wherever it leads. I am putting my top three for how I feel at home.
