I really like all the houses I have left but admit to crushing hard on one that has sent me a few messages that they really like me...are they just stringing me along? is it usual to do that and then cut someone before pref? I am so nervous but of course I want someone that really wants me too.

Makes me so mad that houses dirty rush and send PNMs messages. Glad you like them, but just because they break the rules doesn't mean they like you any more than the other houses like you. And, no, it doesn't mean you will def get a bid from them. Some houses do this to try to get all PNMs to like them, then they can have their pick. They don't care who they hurt as long as they get who they want. UGH

Well, you'll find out in the morning. I hope it works out for you, but this is why there is supposed to be "silence" between actives and pnm during rush....if they cut you tonight, you're going to be 1,000X more crushed than if they had not contacted you this week.
Regardless of what happens, go into pref with an open mind towards all your houses. Pref is a game-changer and sometimes that house you loved all week doesn't "wow" you as much as one you've liked, but not loved.
Fill out your pref card completely- do not suicide the house that's been contacting you. Even though the girls who've contacted you love you, they have no way to guarantee you'll be on the 1st bid list (the only girls "guaranteed" a bid if they rank the house 1st). Even if they tell you they'll see you on Bid Day and what color shorts to wear to match them, RANK EVERY HOUSE.

that's what I am afraid of. I really like the other houses too so it will be okay but I sure don't think it's nice to do that and string people along. you think they are trying to reassure you but now you have to doubt everyone's motives
