by: please listenWhen everyone else is happy about their parties it's hard to be the one who got the hard cuts. Maybe you just have 2 houses left and they're at the bottom of the ranks on greekrank. What are you going to do? My suggestion is to be happy you have two; dismiss the ones that cut you, and have a great time at both of those houses. As you go to the parties, pick a favorite. If you're cut by them tomorrow, pick a new favorite. You only get one chance to do this right. As a sophomore your chances are much lower, plus, you will have missed out on your freshman year fun. There truly are great girls in each house. Don't agonize over the ones that dumped you, fall in love with the ones that love you!

This is sooooo the best advice ever. I had hard cuts and ended up with only three houses. I thought about dropping out and trying again next year. So glad I didn't. I couldn't see fitting into the one I had left on pref but decided to go with it and I'm so glad I did. My class is filled with adorable girls even though my house doesn't rank well on here. Still I FREAKIN LOVE THEM!

GIRLS! Your worth is NOT defined by a Greek organization! If you get completely cut by all the houses OR if you truly don't feel like the last houses you have left for you... You can still have an amazing time, an amazing freshman year, make amazing friends and experience Alabama to the fullest while NOT being in a sorority!

Tough love: the PLEASE get off this site and start making your new college life today. Get off campus and explore, go for a drive. Meet up with friends. Pick some other activities you'd like to join this year.
The sooner you get over it, the sooner you can start your new life. I'm sorry rush didn't work out. Very, very few girls (like less than 100 each year) get completely cut and it sucks. Totally sucks.
