Alpha phi had a beautiful set up and a very heartwarming personal story from one of the members. Felt like they were the most passionate about their philanthropy!! Phi mu is just I mean phi mu....cool black light room and really fun song and just everything made it a great time

I thought Alpha Phi's philanthropy was blowing glittrrr and jumping in bikini tops? That's what thei video shows.

no clue if this is true or not, but I was told (by an AXO) that on bid day they tell their new members "if you joined for our philanthropy you should drop because we don't do anything for it". which is really sad to me because it is a great cause. but thinking about it, they really don't ever do philanthropy events except for one (Walk a Mile in Her Shoes). take this with a grain of salt, but I do believe it, so just be careful!

This isn't true at all. My best friend and roommate is an AXO and she volunteers time at abuse shelters very frequently. My house only does one big event each year also, but we all love our philanthropy. I'm sure those girls do also.
To the other girl. I'm sorry you endured that. I hope you are thriving and are the happiest person you can be. I also hope you find your true home with sisters who will encourage you, support you, and be everything you need.

Are you serious??? That's not true at all. They have two main events, one in the spring and one in the fall. That's sad that you would come on an anonymous website and make that up about alpha chi. They are extremely active not only with their national philanthropy but also several other philanthropies. A girl in the house today told me that their nationals gave a member a scholarship to go to Jamaica and serve with the alpha chi service initiative. They are very involved on campus and in the community, it's pathetic you would even say that to try to put a great house down!

That's because they don't do anything and don't care about their Philanthropy.

That's a pretty sweeping and rude accusation. I'm sure the majority of girls in every chapter care about their philanthropies, but especially when it involves sick children. You'd have to be heartless to not care at all (and don't try to accuse any young sorority women at Bama of being heartless, regardless of their reputation). Stop putting others down.
