gpa

I am a upcoming freshman this year and i start rush this Saturday and I'm worried about my GPA. Its a 2.94 and i know they say you need to at least have a 3.0 but i know many girls in sororities at UA and they all tell me i won't get dropped by all of them because i am easy-going and fun to talk to and i am attractive. But realistically, will i get dropped by all of them? Or which ones are most likely to keep me?

why are you asking this? Obviously certain houses are known to be more likely to take grade risks but it doesn't matter if you know that ahead of time. Just rush and you'll see who will keep you.

Hate to burst your bubble, but please be prepared to be dropped by more than half of the houses the first day. I would honestly say 10/16 houses.

It just depends how you act dress/look and present yourself during rush. you never know

Depends who you know. 2.94 isn't good but theres definitely girls rushing with lower GPAS than that. If an active loves you and you made a lasting impression, she might fight to get you as a grade risk. You're crazy if you think the houses that had the top GPA's last semester will take you though.....pretty sure last semester the top 5 houses for GPA were Alpha Chi, Chi O, Pi Phi, ADPi? (I think...), and Alpha Gam (potentially...but they usually have good grades). So don't get your heart set, but I think you could still get a bid for sure.
