What are the top 3 house on Jefferson and how do those compare to the other new row houses like pike, sx, and Pi Kapp. Are they fairly comparable or a lot worse or is it all just preference.

In my experience and personal opinion, the top three houses on Jefferson are Kappa Sig, Delta Chi, and either Lambda Chi or ZBT. Compared to Pi Kapp, SX, and Pike, they're nothing to write home about. The latter three have more (and much larger) parties, swap with better sororities, and have a better campus involvement (SGA, IFC, Judicial Board).

Now if you're feeling really good about any one house on Jefferson, then please go ahead and pledge them. Find what you want out of fraternity life. If you go Jefferson you may have less parties and a smaller pledge class, but that could also be a good thing. You'll probably be happy wherever you end up, so don't think making it at Theta Chi, Pike, or Sigma Chi is the end-all as an out of state kid.

I guess my question really is: do people look at the kids that went say DX LXA KS DTD etc etc and say "those are the losers who couldn't go pike SX pi kapp etc etc" or not really?

Well I definitely felt that way around the Kappa Sigs and Lambda Chis I know.

DX, KE and DTD.
ZBT and LXA may be slightly below them mostly because DX, KE and DTD are known to party harder and have tougher pledgeships.
However, these 5 houses are the affiliated houses that are on Jeffereson and that is what seperates them from the others.

There are underrated houses on Jefferson, they might even party harder than some of the house on University.
