writing back to recs?
by: anonHeard Phi Mu is writing back to people who wrote recommendation letters saying negative things about the PNMs they wrote them for. Whats up with that? and do all sororities do that......
#3by: Closer look
Asking the chapter to call if there is an issue with the pnm is the right thing for an alumnae to do. They owe it to the house to be candid. The house needs to know this information. If in-house actives pulling for a pnm with a bad rep don't share the truth about a pnm then the house ends up losing and those sisters were selfish. This all assumes the house cares, which some (xo, KD) really don't.
#4by: Bad recs
Bad recs happen. My old babysitter who was a high school senior stole money and clothing from my parents until they caught her on a nanny cam. Then her parents made excuses for her. My mom is an alum and made sure that she got a bad rec and other chapters did hear about it.

But did you write a negative rec and not hear back? That is the question. Is phi mu following up on negative recs? Pretty diligent if so.
