She's right. Not all sororities have one. Over 2/3 of them won't. It seems like a lot of sororities have recently started this video thing for better PR. (At least the ones who need the better PR)
Lots of sororities don't believe in it. Truthfully, it seems pathetic to me to have to bounce around, show your prettiest members, and act totally fake, just so naive pnms will see it and automatically like you. It's ridiculous if you ask me.

I don't think the videos have to contain fake material. If you look at rush videos from others schools like University of Texas at Austin or the University of Arizona a lot of the footage they use is from actual date, philanthropy, or sisterhood events. I think the specific sororities that have already come out with the videos at Bama are going about the videos the wrong way. There is no need to hire these expensive production companies to make these rush videos!! All it does is make the sorority appear a little superficial and it makes me question where my dues are gonna go (hopefully I'm not paying 4k to help fund a video). As a PNM Chi O's work week video was very appealing to me. In the work week video I was able to see REAL(not a ton of makeup) girls being absolutely candid. Watching that video I felt as if Chi O was showing me what it could be like if I were a part of their sister hood. So actives thinking about making rush videos go for candid and real rather than glitzy and fake.

Completely agree- all of the vids I've seen from Bama are very staged. I and probably other PNMs are more impressed by videos that show what their experience in the sorority will actually be like. AGD at Ohio State did a great gopro video in January of their everyday lives. More sororities should model their vids after things like that.
