My biggest concern is making conversation with the actives. I understand all the questions I will be asked, but why are some other questions that make good conversation?

Don't worry about it. That's their job! Not yours!! Yes, you should ask a few questions, but they should come up naturally with the conversation.

We are literally trained to hold conversation with pnms so that you guys will be comfortable and not have to overthink it too much. Just be yourself and have a natural conversation.

If they ask a question, I always would respond and inquire about theirs (if it makes sense)- like if they ask about your major, ask theirs. Or ask where they're from, where they lived freshman year, etcetera. Ask about what made their house stand out during rush, what their favorite part of being in Greek life is, if they're close with their big- tell them what you're the most excited about about Greek life!
