Which house would y'all say has the least amount of drama, is the most laid back, with the most down to earth group of girls?

Interesting on theta. Many seem to "rank" them lower end of new row-- yet y'all see them as down to earth and chill, with a diverse array of members. Does this mean the "rankings" are on something like how popular the members were in their Alabama high schools and "tradition" of the house based on how it always has been?

that's exactly what it's based off of and I wish I hadn't listened to the tent talk and gone Theta. Big mistake

@ugh -- If you are willing to share, did you go "old row" instead of theta? Not asking for your specific house, of course, just wonding the nature of your regret.

yes, I did go old row instead of Theta. Theta was rushing me really hard, but so were two old row sororities. I liked Theta but didn't want to admit it because I was being superficial. I ended up dropping Theta the night before pref (because I just assumed that one of my top three wouldn't ask me back - don't ask me how that logic works because it doesn't). When I actually did get those three back I thought, alright, okay, cool! I had a first choice old row house that'd been bid promising me all week so I just thought it didn't matter what other houses I had on my list. Well, I got my second choice, a house that had also rushed me very hard but probably wasn't the right fit, and even though my old row houses is considered one of the more respected ones, I always feel like I would've been way more at home in Theta.

Alpha chi for sure... I am friends with girls in every single old row sorority and constantly hear crazy stories of girls no longer being friends, always in some sort of drama, always in fights, and I can honestly say my best friend who I have lived with all 3 years of college who is an axo has never ONCE been in drama. Ever. I find it shocking actually. people say that aren't laid back, but they 100% aren't catty or dramatic I can tell you that from living with her and having her friends over 24/7!

Ps- I am NOT an axo!!!! I have lived with an axo for 3 years, and have grown super close to her friend group, as I dropped my sorority after freshman year. You can down vote all you want, but they truly are the sweetest, non fake and drama free girls.

Because every one of my friends is in a sorority? This was my first time on here in probably a year, it's the first post I saw, and I responded with my opinion. I guess you don't have to believe me, but at least I'm saving my (old) sorority by not completely throwing them under the bus like I could definitely be doing.... The house I pledged brought me more unnecessary drama than I ever experienced in high school, but I'm not going to rat on that sorority because I have more respect for them than that. That's something a lot of you people need, is respect for your own sorority and the Greek system as a whole.
