bid day?

Hi y'all.
My family is coming in for bid day and I was just wondering what to tell them as to what they can expect. I've heard they'll see me run outside the stadium and meet me back at the house, but will I be busy the rest of the day or will I get to see them before they leave?

It's very hectic. You will see them but you will not have time to hang out with them. I felt so bad when my parents came Bc I seriously hugged them, got a picture, and ran off with my new sisters. Iys YOUR day, you don't need to feel as if you have to entertain them. Most houses make you leave for your retreat that day and others have pool parties or house parties

Still have your parents come. It is hectic, exciting and there is only ONE bid day. Let your parents see all the excitement. My parents loved it and didn't mind at all that I was whisked away after lunch. They talked to the other parents and saw the house and looked around.

I felt a little guilty when I basically said hi and then ditched them, but a good way to make it worth it for them is to have dinner somewhere nice the night before. You can tell them all about your week and catch up and then when you see them briefly on bid day it's not as bad.
