new row houses
by: pnmit seems like there is a lot of talk about Chi O, Alpha Chi, Alpha Gam What about ADpi or some of the other houses? I have heard no negative comments about them.(Adpi)

the most part, yes. Depends on who you are and if you are more about grades/classiness etc. or partying/history etc. Obviously the Kappa and KD types would consider them higher but the Alpha Chi Alpha Gam etc. types would consider them lower. It's all about personal preference!

ADPi is a great "new row" house. Although they were the second sorority on campus so "new row/old row" is irrelevant. They have a wonderful sisterhood and know how to party while maintaining their grades. ADPi has high standards from their members unlike some other houses. ADPi is better than some of the "old row" houses. I'd recommend their house for great experience in Greek life.

Only new row says old row isn't relevant sorry. No new row house is better than any of the old rows no matter how much you try to say so on greekrank.

There is no way on earth that bottom of old row is better than top of new row as a general rule. There are no general rules except to those that have to hang onto them for status. If a PNM does not have a priority to hang with the DKEs and SAEs, does not want or need the Kappa or KD name for life after college, and has the grades and leadership credentials to do so -- ADPi, PiPhi and maybe AOPi are definately something they may actually pref over KD or Kappa. So, one size does not fit all and the old/new row thing is only relevant to some. If it matters to you, then good, listen to the old/new distinction. If not, then don't listen and go where you want without seeking validation from those that are on a site like this.
