Let me put it this way: what will you do if these 3 sororities release you? Will you totally bail on recruitment....with 13 other houses still (theoretically) available to you?
Girls who declare they will ONLY pledge A, B, C, or D run an extremely high risk of being dropped. Be fiar to yourself - look at ALL the houses, not just these 3.

That is what recruitment week is for. To get to know the girls in the houses. If you are trying to decide based on things you've heard (gossip) or read on an anonymous website like greekrank, you have been poorly advised. Stop listening to gossip and get off this site. Go through recruitment and each day pick out your new favorite house from the ones you're invited back to. Forget the ones you're "really interested in" now. For nearly everyone favorites change as recruitment week progresses. And don't drop out. Sisterhood bonds are what YOU make of them. Some girls come into college with that type of bond left over from high school and not willing to put themselves out to include others. You probably wouldn't enjoy being in a house like that - strong bonds, but ones that don't include you.

And you probably need some good support from active sisters in the house. If there is no one to pull for you, you may not get one of these houses. And maybe that's a good thing because they are very heavily in state, old family connections type houses.

Are you kidding? If a girl makes a bad gpa, we HELP her. We don't put them down, we offer them additional support.
If a girl does something scandalous, it's stays under the radar and its dealt with.
It's a sisterhood. It's not "screw up and we hate you"

PNMs, please don't read this and think badly of AGD. Chi O and AGD are both fabulous houses. This girl's roommate may have ended up fitting in better in Chi O as she thinks she would have, but that doesn't mean you will. That was just her personal experience. You could end up liking AGD better or you could end up liking Chi O better, same with all the other sororities. Just don't take something bad about AGD or Chi O away from her post!

but i agree lol. agds on this board sel ranking yelling that you're now top after all those years of being the "gamma phi of old row", you're being laughed at. no one cares enough to come and fight you on your self rankings though. so enjoy the dellusional solidarity on greekrank that you're "top 2".

AGD is one of the nicest sororities and they are definitely one of the "bring home to mom" types!! Just because some people don't consider them top of old row doesn't mean that they don't have these things. AXO has more "full package" girls than AGD, but AGD is also that way. Put them wherever you want in the rankings it doesn't really matter, but don't say that they don't have nice girls or bring home to mom girls.

Happy? I'm just calling out the blatant self ranking. It's not ok for you (them), whatever, to slam other houses like XO and AGD, and then claim to be nice. Sorry if the truth stings.

How are you one to talk if you slam them all just as much, if not more? At least the girls who are doing the selfranking post once, unlike you who posts multiple times a day against several sororities. You need a reality check
