Will someone please give more examples of bid promising and also examples of things that aren't bid promising but seem like they are? Thanks!

I can't speak to bid promising, but I know my house in general wants you to have a good experience when you come through. I might say something like, "I'm so glad you're here today." We are warned to NEVER mention the next round, as in "Can't wait to see you tomorrow!" BUT in the excitement, you have to catch yourself with "Hope to see you tomorrow" which you shouldn't do because it might give a girl false hope, but you may REALLY hope to see them. Does that make sense? Of course the houses want you to want to come back! My guess on the bid promising, just based on rumors, is when you've been to a bunch of events, know girls in the house, and they tell you you're in and not to pay attention to the other houses. So girls may come in and say, "I've had a great day, I was just at ___ and they're my favorite!" (it happens). And I promise, if you walk into a house and mention another house, you'll be dropped.
