i always forget DDD is old row...but i dont think theyre as wild and southern as KD/Kappa or as studious as AGD/AXO/XO. they are smart girls though. i feel like
DDD is in their own league. maybe with phi mu except they dont

they are not awful. they do seem to be picking a few bad seeds every year, but other than that they're lower top. but if they continue to get bad seeds and it gets worse, yes they could drop lower. but they aren't there yet.

ChiO does not suck as bad as PM. They are totally mixed bag. All over the place, really.

First, I have to say your grouping of the two sets is insightful. All are top houses for legacy Alabama girls. To me, axo/AGD/xo are filled with more religious, studious but dun. Of the three, xo is hottest and their girls have the most spunk. The bad seeds hurt but they take chances that can and do pay off though. If you know Birmingham, they are more of the Vestavia and Spain park girls.
Now the kappa/kd/Dodd trio is more money. Way Mountain Brook. Trident are the good girls with grades. Kappa are the sporty girls with spunk but not particularly smart. Kd are the money girls with no grades and questionable reps.
Comparing the two sets, axo has no peer. Xo is like kappa. AGD is like tridelt.
Kd is just Kd. Dumb like APhi but cute like pi phi or something like that.

AXO and AGD are the better of the two. XO sucks and will continue to suck if they get bad pledge classes. They need to take less risks with their next PC. DDD is more like AGD and AXO but they really aren't as attractive and are more appealing to the smart "good girls" in mountain brook/mobile/Montgomery. You see DDD mix with the same fraternities AXO/AGD do (phi gam/snu). Honestly I would say XO is more like kappa/KD, and DDD is more like AXO/AGD

@myopinion is spot on, but I would say XO above Kappa and KD and probably about even with PM in the old row collection.

This post just called DDD one of the top 3 houses on campus and if they aren't top 3 then they are top 4... How is that negative? No ones arguing that DDD is a great house...

why do you keep posting this??? its literally all about preference and where you fit in the most. id rather go kd/kappa over any other old row house and adpi is my fav from new row. i could care less about where they "rank". move on, people go with the house i like the most.

PNMs get off this site. you can't have a favorite house, you don't know which houses you like better than others, you know nothing. You aren't on campus and honestly all this site does is give u a false idea about houses before you rush. 90% of what this site says is untrue. Also if you like ADPi, KD, and Kappa you clearly know NOTHING about the houses because those in reality could not be any more different. Please stop posting stuff.

this site is a good resource for PNMs to ask basic questions and get some advice before rush. of course they are going to be on here, whether they should or shouldnt. who really SHOULDNT be on here is actives overly promoting their house, tearing down others, and getting butthurt when people dont agree nor care about whos the "top". im guessing you were you a nobody in high school and being able to post "AGD IS TOP 3!!!" over and over again and saying why makes you feel important and relevant. reality check, nobody cares and most people are proud to be in their house and wouldnt want to be in any other house whether its DG to KD. grow up, find some self worth, and enjoy your 4 years in your sisterhood. bye.

They're kind of between the two groups. They're similar to KD/KKG in the sense that they are very desired by Southern PNMs and really play up their southern-ness kind of like KD. Girls get invited to a lot of DKE/SAE events too, as they're like the "good girl" equivalent of KD/KKG. I'm from Texas and DDD and KKG have a lot of name brand value amongst the wealthy legacy types.
