Do they really not want us going out at all during rush?

1. Unless you have a good fake or are 19, you won't be getting in to the bars. 2. If you are seen out by an active, you'll most likely get reported and you could get blacklisted by a lot of houses. Word travels fast amongst the houses; be smart and don't screw yourself over

And it is against panhellenic rules to be going out during rush week. If you can't wait one week to go out then obviously you don't want to be in a sorority that badly. There are parties almost every day of the week after bid day for pretty much the whole semester so don't blow your chances of getting into a sorority on one or two lame parties.

Not even going to have time to go out/the energy to do so... IMO, if you can't hold off a week of partying, and following one rule Panhellenic asks you to follow, a sorority is not for you.

NOOOOOOOOO. WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT TO YOURSELF DURING THE MOST STRESSFUL WEEK OF YOUR LIFE? Clearly you aren't prepared for what's coming if you think you are going to have the energy or the time to go to a freaking bar during rush
