Did ZTA drop Izzy?
by: PNMKylan is taking a step back, and I can only assume that means Zeta dropped Izzy. Can anyone confirm? Did she get ANY houses back?

I also think Izzy was dropped by ZTA.
According to Tonya, Izzy did get some houses back...I honestly belive she only got Gphi back and maybeee aphi but she will be dropped by them soon enough...
No one wants that PR risk in their sisterhood, especially ZTA and other influencer houses (like Pi Phi) much less any OR houses.
Izzy would be smart to just suck it up and take a Gphi bid if she makes it that far with them.

I highly doubt theta would want her...SK may have also invited her back but she probably won't make it far them.

Yes Theta did not invite her. Word between houses is no one wants her. My roommate is Theta. They are inviting based on gpa, looks, activities and personality. She also heard Aphi won't take her due to a comment she made and same for gphi. They all talk with their friends in other houses.

I should just say one more thing since the "even theta" comment dropped. Izzy and anyone else would be really lucky to get to be a Theta. I've been able to go to a lot of their parties and activities. They are such a great house and they get along great with other houses. There's not like back stabbing or jealousy and stuff. My roommate says they are really like sisters. I don't hear her talk bad about any of them. So I just thought I'd say that. She's been exhausted coming home late all week for work week stuff but I think that's probably normal.

I think Zeta doesn’t want to deal with them anymore. They want to improve their reputation and not be seen as the “influencer” house or even the “hot girl” house. Every house wants attractive members, but I think zeta wants to be more competitive with Phi Mu and obtain more whole package PNMs with better grades and reputations. I don’t think zeta wants another four years of this!!! Plus their mom!!! Who is extremely outspoken about every little thing!!!

Phi Mu has been taking "smart" and "wholesome" girls, and they are not so pretty anymore. They want a more balanced look. I think a good balance of OR and NR would be Alpha Chi, Alpha Gam, Phi Mu, AOII, and Pi Phi, but I am not sure if she has the grades for those groups.

100 percent agree. HER MOM RUINED THIS FOR HER. izzy needed to take this week and maybe not post (even GRWMs) and her mom needed to keep her mouth shut for her to even have a shot. and even then it would have been slim pickins. the way her mom acted PUBLICLY towards zeta was a red flag to all houses not just them. unfortunately mommy couldn’t be the bigger person and her daughter is suffering

Honestly, I find this really sad. I know Greek life seems like the be all and end all right now, but those girls will barely remember cutting ID in 15 years. This has likely colored Kylan’s view of her entire experience and will scar them both for the rest of their lives. Love or hate them, no one deserves to have their sister cut from their sorority. I’ve voted for those cuts and I regret it. It’s just not that deep. I’m so sad for them both.

What’s worse, cutting a sister or having said sister have a viral video of her saying a racial slur tied to a national organization? They don’t want to bad press. This isn’t about “being mean” or however yall are painting it. She was a reputation risk and they’re a top house

Both. Both are bad. ZTA is in a no win situation. Kylan is in a no win situation. Izzy made things way harder on herself than necessary and the mom isn’t helping matters. *Assuming* the racial slur was a dumb and ignorant thing she regrets, I feel bad for her too. She’s just like anyone else… wanting to be accepted. Did she mess up? Of course. But rush has a way of deadening your empathy. I know I’m too old to care, but this whole thing just makes me sad

It’s bad all around. It’s possible to feel sorry for everyone all at once. There isn’t a good answer for everyone. Hence why ZTA is in a no win situation

I just feel for Kylan since it’s her last year and Izzy made the choice to go here when she didn’t have to and she isn’t even a fit.
