Bama RushTok is RUINING GREEK LIFE

As a rising senior, I have seen the effects of bama rushtok and it’s done nothing but hurt us. In just a few years, this place has completely changed. People are coming from all over the country to rush so they can make the next viral video and become TikTok famous. I’ve even seen MALES trying to become influences off of rushing. Sororities are supposed to be safe spaces for sisters, no one cares if you’re gay, stay out of women’s spaces. Our academics are also going down because so many people here are more focused on content creation than getting their degree. All these wanna be influencers have also brought so much more drama into greek life, and since there’s a spotlight on us right now, the latest drama is all over the Internet. It’s making greek life so toxic here. I hope more sororities drop the TikTok fame hunters because all of this reflects poorly on greek life and the university.
