What is not top at Bama is 'model' looks that come from a lot of make up, extensions, fillers, inch long eyelashes and orange tans, and social media that looks like OF. Freshman boys may rank different, but their brains are in their pants and only consider sororities as potential for hook ups so who cares.

'Top' house at Bama means being the whole package - top in grades, top in achievement, top in looking put together and confident, top in behavior and attitude toward others, top in natural beauty, top in retaining their members, top in being the most desired during recruitment as most pnm's top picks because of all these traits. You don't have to be Southern to be this type of girl. Also, while the 'top' houses can take their pick and fill their classes entirely with these girls, this type is certainly in other houses too. Not being in a 'top' house doesn't mean you aren't a top girl.

But when you get here and actually live in Greek life, nobody is thinking about ranks, it's about individuals. Pnm's get carried away with ranks, most freshmen do, this site is the worst, but that wears off after being here and you see they really don't matter.

most girls in top sororities are just fine average looking girls, most having prettier girls in the mix too. same goes for a lot of mid and low mid sororities. with that it’s not a matter of tier it’s a matter of the type of girls the sorority tends to pull to, which at bama would be like aphi and zeta. they’re for the most part ur stereotypical model looking sorority girls. anything else ppl say is a lie

there's super pretty girls in SK and there's not so cute girls in Phi Mu. Once you're in, nobody cares about rankings.

Grades are more important than looks!!!! Even to top sororities. If you have a good GPA, dress cute and appropriately for sisterhood and pref, and are a good conversationalist it will not be hard to get into a good sorority. And yes, even old row.

Avg. looks, thin, money, private school, “good family”, not afraid of the white stuff. This is the way to the top.
