@rush yes alpha gam and tri delt both are very competitive. Make sure you have a rec for both, good grades, and no reputation risks and you'll have a shot.

I see. You may be very disappointed if you don't open your heart to the New Row houses as well. All houses at UA are great.

Old row is not a big deal with sororities any more. Now that things are changing, houses are changing they all kind of blend.
Half of your list will take southern girls so odds are high that you will end up with out a home.

assume she was talking about who was most competitive, not her list. I don't think AGD and Phi mu are as competitive as the others, because XO, AXO, DDD, and KD are fighting for southern girls, and there is a lessening number of them. Therefore, they're very selective because they have a small demographic they're shooting for.

Is pretty competitive in its way. They definitely favor in-state/Southern vs. OOS/non-Southern.
