Not DZ and ZTA. ZTA is picky on looks but they take a lot of grade and reputation risks. Most competitive I would say are KD, Chi O, Phi Mu, and Tri Delt.

R Selective. Yes all of the houses turn girls away for a variety of reasons.
Some of the local girls prefer a few mainly because they have friends but those houses usually don't impress out of state girls too much.
The first post is accurate but I would add about 5 more houses. Usually the top 2/3 houses have earned the right to be picky.

ADPi, dz, and zeta (zeta gets a lot of stunning girls but have a poor GPA and my guy friends think a lot are easy) are not picky. I would personally say axo is probably the most well rounded and selective house...pretty girls, best GPA, super involved. phi mu is also super selective it's a lot of blonde southern girls you either have to know someone, be a cheerleader or pretty. chi omega is very selective because of grades I am pretty sure they have the second highest GPA behind axo. KD is selective only because it is a lot of mountain brook girls and the house is like half gorgeous and half atrocious. tridelt is also very selective kind of like KD (lots of mountain brook girls) but in my opinion are a lot nicer and the house is also very pretty with a high GPA. AOPi is just a new row chi o pretty much some are pretty some are just like no and they have a very high GPA

Chi O ahead of AXO as the best all-around house. They're pretty in a wholesome way (not overdone like Phi Mu or ZTA), they're smart and involved without being boring and uptight, and they're fun and social but they keep it classy. Overall they're a great house that doesn't try too hard.

Because more than likely a girl in our sorority will be from where you are from or near you and she will probably know someone that knows you or knows of you. If your reputation is so bad that we can hear about it like that, we will drop you.

REPUTATION: any sorority on any campus can find out reps of rushees ... Either thru current members or alumnae networks. Chi Omega could double as the reputation NSA, they do better background checks on rushees that some parties do on political candidates.

Maybe 3 years ago you could call adpi selective but based off their 2013 PC they def aren't anymore. they're very average for grades despite needing a 3.2 to get a bid. based on the girls I've met in the house, half are wannabe alpha phis and half are so awkward i don't understand how they got a bid.

Understand when yall say zip code. In my own personal zip code there are millionaires, and there are poor people. I don't understand how you can judge if someone is wealthy from their zip code, unless it is one of the top like 10 wealthiest zip codes in the USA.

^ adjust that for the cost of living. living in alabama is way less expensive because houses, taxes, etc. are cheaper. a lot of "wealthy" people in mountain brook would be average in places like new york, california, chicago, south florida, etc.

Yes, Kappa is hard to get into, but I don't know why. They aren't that special. Rich, but that's about it.

Thinks they are selective
Truth is no one really wants the chubbers or the fuglies.
National want high grades so they want some one who pulls their weight.
No one wants to be sisters with some one who embarrasses them. So the wild party pics are a problem.
Just be true to yourself... Be normal not fake, not lazy, don't be rude and talk!!! If they don't know you well you get dropped!
Truth is being in any Greek house will enhance your college years!
