by: oos pnmHow hard is it to get a bid from pi phi? From their tumblr they look like a great group of girls I could picture myself being friends with. What kind of gpa/involvement do they look for? (Aside from clicking with the members of course) I only have one rec for them

I know it's not the best reason, but it's the most I have to go off of. I didn't go to preview weekend, so I've never actually met any of the girls. Their chapter website shows who they are as a house, but their tumblr shows sort of who they are as people/a sisterhood. I know it's not a great reason, but the pictures made them seem like they had a lot of fun and cared a lot about each other... Theres not a bunch of drinking/bikini/ect type of pictures which I respected. Sorry you don't like my reason but it's just my opinion :)

But you need to base your opinion off of actually meeting girls--not social media. I can't even explain to you how fake every single tumblr page is! None of them are a good representation of any of the houses. So please just go into recruitment with an open mind and stop trying to guess ahead of time.

I agree with "But". I wrote the one above it and realize how rude I sound. Sorry. I was just shocked because it is not a good plan to make judgments off social media, though their TUMBLR page is cute. Listen to the person who gave the better "worded" advice. You may very well end up a Pi Phi and will love them, I am sure. But just go through the process with an open mind.

Is known as an OOS house -- I think they have ~20 girls just from the Chicago area alone. Their past president is from Connecticut.
